Trip to Robinwood Outdoor Activity Centre
During half term The WOW Zone staff took 29 year 6 children from Rack House Primary School to Dobroyd Castle, one of the Robinwood activity centres in Todmorden. This was part of the year round support package offered to schools.
The children took part in activities such as canoeing, raft building, archery, climbing and many more. They had the opportunity to develop skills such as team work, problem solving and communication, among others.
All of the WOW Zone and Robinwood staff were really impressed with the children’s attitude and enthusiasm when faced with challenging tasks. Thanks go out to the Robinwood staff who go above and beyond to make the weekend a positive and memorable experience. See you next year!
